If you have been less than successful in your job search, it's time you take an objective look at your goals, strategies, and desires. Are you sending out dozens of resumes and getting virtually no response? Is your resume as strong as it can be? Is your resume professional? Are you following-up all available job leads? Are you using your network? You do have a network, right? Are you spending too much time using online job boards?

If you feel as though you are putting out a lot of effort, but not getting any results, then you need to assess your strategies. If you are getting the interviews you want, but not getting any offers, then you need to assess your interviewing skills and post-interview follow-up strategies.

Finally, if you are making a career change, are you prepared and are you attempting too large a career stretch?
