Describing your education on your resume

The description of your education and specialized training on your resume should be brief. Usually, you will want to put it towards the bottom of your resume after your work experience. List your education either in reverse chronological order or in order of importance. If you did not receive a degree or certificate from an organization, it is not necessary to mention your education at that school. An exception to this rule would be if the education you received with related to your career objective.
Include the degree or certificate that you earned, your major and minor, the name or the institution, and the date you received your degree or anticipate receiving your degree. You may want to omit the date you received your degree if you are worried about discrimination based on this information. You could also include your GPA, honors, awards, certifications, and scholarships if you don’t mention them anywhere else on your resume.
