Set small goals for yourself and celebrate each achievement in your Job Search
By Paul Allens
Sometimes a job search can take on a life of its own and becomes intimidating, almost overwhelming. If this is you, the best strategy is to break down your job search tasks into smaller tasks and activities. Don't look at your situation from the highest levels; instead, focus on each of the many smaller steps it takes to find and obtain a new job.
Once you are in a position to achieve your daily goals, reward yourself with something that will take your mind off your job search, at least for a while. Keep positive. Searching for a job can be a good experience.
